When you launch your business as a Stella & Dot stylist, it’s important to think about your why. Your why are the reasons you became a stylist, and honing in on these reasons will help you set and achieve goals in your business. Here are the three reasons I became a stylist with Stella & Dot (and am so happy I did!).

(I shared this video with my friends and family on Facebook to announce the news!)

1. I wanted community.

As many of you may know, my husband and I moved from the Midwest to Phoenix in May 2017. I love that being a Stella & Dot stylist means meeting lots of like-minded people in the area. Not just customers, but I love the connections I’m making with fellow stylists too. From the weekly training calls to stylist meet-ups, it’s so fun to have a group of amazing women cheering you on.

2. I wanted freedom.

I’d been thinking about getting a part-time job for a while to earn a little extra fun money. But, of course, I didn’t want just any part-time job. I wanted a side hustle that felt like a hobby. And it also had to be something that could be flexible to work with my crazy schedule. (I have a full-time job along with blogging and styling!) As a stylist with Stella & Dot, I’m completely in control of my schedule. If I want a weekend to fly home to visit family, I can have it! If I don’t want to work on nights Chase is off work early, I don’t have to!

3. I wanted jewelry.

OK, this is probably a given. ;) But I absolutely love Stella & Dot jewelry! Being able to shop my favorite pieces at a discount is a MAJOR perk for me. I also love how working with Stella & Dot lets me style women with the perfect pieces for them. There’s nothing more fun then when you’re working with a customer who has an Aha! moment of… “Oh wow! I can add a statement piece to literally any outfit and feel 10xs more put together.”
